Pierot #2 - Bulletin

Posted in Pierot on December 30th, 2006

Futurenames

Posted in Thoughts on December 15th, 2006

In the future I think names will experience a significant change. Greek first names will experience a resurgence in popularity. People’s surnames, much like the Smiths and Carpenters of yesteryear, will be updated to include more modern professions.

The future will bring us best friends named Zeus Travelagent. Our middle school basketball coach might be named Hermes Orthodontist. Our orthodontist will be Dr. Aphrodite Garbageman, DMD.

Really, other than the name thing, I don’t think a whole lot more is going to change.

We’ve settled down a little more since our big adventures on Fuji and across Honshu, taking on some private classes and making real human friends. On Monday we teach private kid’s classes, and next week I will get to play Santa for their Christmas party. Incidentally, you can see pictures of the Halloween party on our Flickr account. We work and play, and you might see us back in America sometime in February. Details are still scarce - email me if you need to know so badly.

The following little scene is really, really gooey and romantic. I’m serious about this. It’s all about how much I love Holly, which is my favorite subject to write about and it’s my web site so deal with it. If you have a weak stomach for gooey, romantic things then I suggest you do not click the following link. Consider yourself duly warned.
