Nasty Conjugation

Hello you and you. Goodness, things have been pretty busy. Chippy agrees - he is standing in the doorway screaming like a maniac, which I guess means he agrees. The wedding is in just a month! Yipes! You will understand why, between that and graduate school, I have not posted much here in the last month. In fact, I continue that tradition of disappointment today because all I’ve got to post is a bit of verse. Too bad for you!

Here it is. It might become the chorus of a song? It’s meant to be sung by a lady and a dude together.

Lying on my back on the hood of my car
under the same night sky as you, wherever you are.
I want to ask if I can be your satellite -
You can save me from these falling stars tonight.
