Nasty Conjugation

In the future I think names will experience a significant change. Greek first names will experience a resurgence in popularity. People’s surnames, much like the Smiths and Carpenters of yesteryear, will be updated to include more modern professions.

The future will bring us best friends named Zeus Travelagent. Our middle school basketball coach might be named Hermes Orthodontist. Our orthodontist will be Dr. Aphrodite Garbageman, DMD.

Really, other than the name thing, I don’t think a whole lot more is going to change.

There is a decorative book in a sealed bookcase in our neighborhood Mr. Donut titled Financing the Small Manufacturer in Developing Countries, and the author is listed as, “Davenport.”

If I had twins I would dress one of them like a robot and the other one like a robot.
